Oral ATP (assessment, treatment and prevention)
Evaluation of each tooth and the surrounding bone and soft tissue is the first step before establishing a treatment plan and for prevention of future problems.
Digital Dental Radiography
A key part of the assessment of disease, dental radiography helps us to evaluate the bone surrounding teeth.
Root Canal Therapy (endodontics)
Teeth with the pulp (or nerve) exposed require some type treatment to prevent infection and pain. Root canal therapy allows us to save the tooth so it can continue it’s function.
Periodontal Therapy
Periodontal disease is the most common disease in pets. It affects 70% of pets over 3-4 years of age and is a condition involving bone and soft tissue changes around teeth. It in non-reversible.
Oral Surgery (extractions, growth removal)
Teeth beyond saving are extracted and ginigval flaps used to close the sockets. Growths in the mouth can be serious conditions. Obtaining a biopsy to determine definitive treatment, is important.
Orthodontics (yes, "braces")
Our goal with orthodontics is to move teeth in order to give a pet a functional and comfortable bite.
